Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime with model number SM-G530H is rumored to go official this week for Rs. 15,250.

Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the Galaxy Grand Prime will be available later this week with an MRP of Rs. 16000 available for Rs. 15,250. The main feature of the phone is its 5 MP front-facing camera to give into the latest fad of taking selfies. Coming to the specs its a mix of entry-level to mid-range specs with a 5-inch qHD display, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal expandable storage running Android 4.4 KitKat. The Galaxy Grand Prime will be a dual-SIM smartphone as well with a 8 MP primary and 5 MP front-camera.


The Galaxy Grand Prime is a bit hefty at 156 grams even though it is just 8.3 mm thin which might be something to do with the rather large 2600 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio alongwith GPS with GLONASS support. It is expected to be available in Black as well as White colors.
