Samsung's mammoth workhorse of a tablet, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 LTE variant is getting its Lollipop update. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 (SM-T905) was launched running Android 4.4 KitKat and is now directly being updated to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The update is about 1.3GB to download, so do connect to a WiFi hotspot before you start. At present we are hearing that the update is being rolled out in the Nordic regions but a global rollout is to follow soon. At present though there is no word when the WiFi variant of the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is getting its share of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
