Sony Xperia E4 and Xperia E4 Dual go official with 5-inch display, 1 GB RAM

Sony Xperia E4

Sony has just unveiled the Xperia E4 and Xperia E4 Dual smartphones running Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Both the devices are expected to go on sale mid-February. This time around the Xperia E4 comes with a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS display, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM.

Both the Xperia E4 and Xperia E4 dual feature 5 MP rear cameras and 2 MP front cameras. Its not the thinnest smartphone at 10.5mm and weighs in at 144 grams. You also have a 2300 mAh battery with STAMINA mode which can get you to 2 days of moderate usage. The dual-SIM variant of the Xperia E4 comes with dual-SIM active technology, so you can accept calls on the other SIM card when you are talking on the first one.


Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and FM Radio. At present there is no word on price or availability, but they will likely be showcased at MWC 2015.
