That didn't take long. Sony's latest smartphone the Xperia Z Ultra has made it to India, and has been priced at Rs. 46,990. It features a 6.44-inches (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Triluminous technology borrowed from Sony TV's, and runs on a 2.2 Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, mixing it up. On the imaging front, there's primary 8-megapixel camera with Exmor RS sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary front-facing camera.
Apart from that the Sony Xperia Z Ultra continues the company's recent love for dust and water resistance, and hence comes with IP55/IP58 certification. Sony is also touting it as the world's slimmest full-HD smartphone, at just 6.5 mm thickness.
Although the announced price is Rs. 46,990, the Xperia Z Ultra is available through several online retailers for Rs. 44,990, and it comes in Purple, Black and White colors.
