After launching the ultra budget Swipe Elite Star, the company has just launched an even more budget friendly variant, the Swipe Konnect 4G, priced at Rs. 2799. This makes it one of the cheapest 4G VoLTE smartphones with Reliance Jio support available in the country.
The specs of both the phones remain similar with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor but the RAM and storage have been halved to 512 MB / 4GB respectively. There's still a microSD card slot to expand storage. Swipe is aiming towards Reliance Jio users who would probably just use the phone as a mobile hotspot till March 31st, 2017, till when data and voice services are free. Cameras remain the same as well, with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash capable of recording 720p videos and a 1.3-megapixel front camera for selfies. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G VoLTE (HD Voice) support, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth, FM Radio and GPS.
The Swipe Konnect 4G has been priced at Rs. 2799 and is now available from Shopclues in black color.
