Gionee made a bold statement with the Elife S5.5 which comes with a premium metal and glass build and has been crowned as the thinnest smartphone in the world at just 5.5 mm. In terms of specs its quite up there with a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display made by Samsung with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the new 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage. There's a 13 MP camera at the back as well alongwith a 5 MP front-shooter.

The Elife S5.5 runs on a 2300 mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Amigo UI on top. In terms of connectivity the Elife S5.5 supports 3G networks, WiFi, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS as well as USB OTG.
Gionee has priced the Elife S5.5 at Rs. 22,999 and will be available in Pink, Blue, Purple, Black and White colors.
