Xolo Q2100

XOLO Q2100 has just gone official featuring a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone and a sizeable 5.5-inch HD IPS display which is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Q2100 has been priced at Rs. 13,499 and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB running Android 4.4 KitKat.

The XOLO Q2100 too is a dual-SIM, dual-standby device like most of the company's devices and comes with a 2800 mAh battery which is good to see given the size of the display. The Fingerprint sensor is clearly the distinguishing feature of the smartphone which allows you to quickly unlock the device by swiping your finger over it. The Q2100 also comes with Last Pass app pre-installed which securely saves all your passwords and is itself secured by the fingerprint sensor. There's also an infra-red LED which lets you control your TV, DVR among other appliances with the help of its built-in app, Peel Smart Remote.

But that's not all you also have a 8 MP primary camera with Sony Exmor R sensor capable of recording 1080p videos alongwith a 2 MP front-facing unit. Connectivity options are not limited either, you have 3G HSPA+ support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio as well as USB OTG.

XOLO has priced the Q2100 quite competitively at Rs. 13,499 and can be a good option for people who are looking for a cross between a tablet and a phone at this price point.
