Micromax has begun teasing an image on its YU Facebook fanpage which is a basic connect the dots game. Let us do that for YU, and it can be seen that it forms a Lollipop. The last dot is numbered 26 and the first four dots are greyed out and the image was uploaded on March 5th.
So, if you do the math, Micromax will start rolling out Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop to the YU Yureka starting March 26th. Hallelujah!
This will be the first major update for the YU Yureka and is a massive one considering its the latest OS from Google's stable. Although availability has been a question but YU has been working towards ramping-up production of its first smartphone. Just to recap on the specs, the YU Yureka comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display clad in Corning Gorilla Glass 3 powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which is expandable to 32 GB. There's a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera as well.
