Following the recent debut of the Amazfit Active earlier this month, Amazfit is now hinting at the imminent release of the Amazfit Active Edge. This new offering boasts a rugged design, 10 ATM water resistance, a 5-satellite positioning system, and up to 16 days of battery life under typical usage conditions.
In India, the watch will be available in Lava Black, Midnight Pulse, and Mint Green color options. It will support over 100 watch faces, including editable and portrait watch faces, courtesy of Zepp OS 2.1.
Equipped with Zepp Coach and boasting 130+ sports modes, including auto-detection for 7 sports modes such as outdoor running, treadmill, walking, indoor walking, outdoor cycling, running machine, and elliptical, the Amazfit Active Edge promises comprehensive fitness tracking. Moreover, it features automatic recognition of 25 strength exercises.
Similar to other Amazfit watches, the Active Edge offers heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) measurement, and stress detection. The watch has already been introduced in other markets, revealing a 1.32" TFT screen with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and Bluetooth 5.0 LE support.
Expected to be available for purchase on Amazon India, the Amazfit Active Edge is anticipated to launch later this month. It is projected to be slightly more affordable than the Amazfit Active, as it lacks Bluetooth calling functionality and does not feature an AMOLED screen.
