Compared to its predecessor, the Pad 6 Pro, the new tablet boasts enhancements such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC (System on Chip) as opposed to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a 3:2 3K screen, and 120W fast charging, a significant upgrade from the previous 67W capability. Additionally, the Pad 6S Pro features Wi-Fi 7 support and will operate on HyperOS. Notably, promotional images showcase a keyboard dock available in black and white variants, along with a stylus.

Initial reports suggested that the tablet may offer up to 24GB of RAM, storage capacities of up to 1TB, dual 50MP rear cameras, a quad-speaker system, and a substantial 10,000mAh battery, as seen in the Pad 5 Pro.

While earlier speculations hinted at the device being labeled the Pad 7, the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset has fueled rumors of a potential Xiaomi Pad 7 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor slated for release later this year.

Moreover, the tablet has been spotted in Europe, suggesting its imminent global debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event scheduled for February 25th in Barcelona, coinciding with the global launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
