Android Parental Controls Expanding to More Devices
Originally launched on Pixel smartphones last year, Android Parental Controls will now roll out to all eligible Android devices receiving the Android 17 update. Built directly into Android Settings, the feature serves as a centralized hub that combines native device management tools with Google Family Link controls.
Protected by a simple PIN setup, the controls are intended to help families strike a healthier balance between screen usage and offline activities. Parents can manage key device settings from a single location, whether their children are actively using their devices or taking breaks during designated downtime periods.
