The Asus ZenWatch 3 is now on sale in the US, a bit ahead of schedule. The ZenWatch 3 runs on Android Wear and is set to get the latest update to the platform next year when Google releases Android Wear 2.0.
It comes with a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 400x400 pixels resolution running on the newly minted Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. All this is powered by a 340 mAh battery. Just like the previous ZenWatch, Asus has priced it quite affordably at $229 (Rs. 15280) and is currently available from B&H Photo with leather bands.
It will come pre-installed with 50 watch faces which can be further customized with weather, battery, notification widgets. You will also be able to design your own custom watch faces with the FaceDesigner app. Although there is no heart rate sensor here, the ZenWatch 3 is capable of tracking steps, running as well as other exercises.
