Google is all set to launch of the new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones today in the US but here's a whiff on their launch in India. According to a report from Digit, the new Pixel smartphones are going on pre-order in India on October 13th and will be exclusively sold on Flipkart.
Both phones are expected to be listed as soon as tomorrow and the pricing will also be disclosed then. We will know more about the Indian variants of both phones tomorrow.
As you may have already heard, Google is moving away from their co-branded Nexus devices, to pure Google branded Pixel smartphones which would have some unique features. There's talk of some new features related to Google Assistant dubbed Google Magic as was revealed today.
The Google Pixel smartphones would run on Snapdragon 821, come with 4GB RAM and have expandable storage. We have already posted detailed specifications of the devices which you can check here and here. We will also be following the event live on Twitter and Facebook, so do follow us there.
