Grand Theft Auto VI Pre-Orders Open Worldwide Ahead of November 19th Launch; Bonuses and Pricing Revealed

Rockstar Games, the publishing division of Take-Two Interactive Software, has officially opened global pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI starting June 25, 2026, at 12:00 AM local time.

After multiple schedule adjustments, the highly anticipated open-world title is now set for a worldwide release on November 19, 2026. Grand Theft Auto VI will launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

The game’s story-driven single-player experience follows protagonists Jason and Lucia, taking players through what Rockstar describes as the most expansive and immersive world ever created in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Editions and Pre-Order Rewards

Rockstar will offer Grand Theft Auto VI in two editions at launch:

Standard Edition: Includes the complete base game and full single-player campaign.
Ultimate Edition: Includes the base game along with a selection of exclusive vehicles, weapons, outfits, and additional in-game content integrated into the story experience.

Players who pre-order or purchase either edition before November 20, 2026, will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, featuring a collection of retro-inspired in-game items.

Digital pre-orders will also include one complimentary month of GTA+, Rockstar’s subscription service. GTA+ provides exclusive benefits in GTA Online for Grand Theft Auto V and access to a rotating catalog of classic Rockstar Games titles through the GTA+ Games Library.

Pre-Loading and Availability

To help players jump into the game immediately upon release, Rockstar has confirmed that pre-loading will begin on November 12, 2026.

Digital Purchases: Users who pre-order through supported digital storefronts can start downloading the game files from November 12.
Physical Editions: Retail copies will also be available from November 12, 2026. These packages will contain a digital download code, enabling players to preload the game before launch day.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be available through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store, and major retail partners worldwide. The title has not yet received official content ratings from regional classification authorities.
