Update - HONOR has now confirmed on its Honor India twitter account to launch its mid-range smartphone HONOR 9X Pro in India on May 12, 2020.
The company also sent invites for the launch of AppGallery, which is the company’s app store that pre-installed in the HONOR 9X Pro as a preview. This smartphone will be the first phone that comes with the Honor AppGallery app.
Earlier - HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has announced to launch its new smartphone HONOR 9X Pro in India after the launch of HONOR 9X in January 2020. The company has already launched the phone in the global markets earlier this year.
The HONOR India tweet a post where it accidentally leaked the name of the smartphone in a tweet, which is now deleted. The launch date is not revealed by officially but the IANS report says that it will be launched on May 12 and also available on Flipkart. It also said the price of the phone between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 and come pre-install with HUAWEI AppGallery instead of Google Play Store and Services.

The HONOR 9X Pro has a 6.59-inch FHD+ full view LCD screen with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs on Kirin 810 7nm processor with 6 GB of RAM, 256 GB storage, GPU Turbo 9.0, NINE liquid cooling that can reduce the temperature by up to 5°C and works on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMIUI 9.1, but with HUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS).
It has a triple rear camera setup where 48 MP primary camera along with 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front side has a 16 MP pop-up front-facing camera and is powered by a 4000mAh battery with a 10W battery charger.
