HONOR has confirmed the launch of its new ultra-slim smartphone, the HONOR Magic8 Pro Air in China on January 19. Following the debut of the Magic8 Pro last year, the new model focuses on combining a lightweight form factor with a premium experience. The company describes it as “lightweight yet powerful,” aiming to redefine both design and performance.

The pre-order listing reveals that the Magic8 Pro Air will be available in four color options — black, white, purple, and orange — and will be offered in three storage variants: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Earlier teasers have showcased a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash positioned below the camera module, along with a metal frame and glass back design.

According to previous reports, the phone will measure just 6.3mm in thickness and weigh only 158 grams. It is also expected to feature a 1/1.3-inch large “Pro-level” main camera sensor. More details about the device are expected to be revealed soon.
Commenting on the launch, Fang Fei, President of Products at HONOR, said -
Innovation is the lifeline of technology brands and that consumers constantly expect new breakthroughs. He added that the new “Air” category presents both opportunities and challenges, and that bringing “Pro” capabilities into an “Air” form factor requires deep technological expertise across architecture and materials science. He highlighted HONOR’s advancements in structural design, battery technology, durable glass, and display innovation as the foundation behind this product. According to him, “Pro in the Air” represents HONOR’s product philosophy and its response to user expectations.
