Infinix has globally unveiled its Note 40 series smartphones, encompassing the Note 40 Pro+ and Pro 5G models, along with the Note 40 Pro and Note 40 4G variants. The Note 40 Pro and Pro+ models are equipped with All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology, driven by Infinix’s inaugural self-developed Cheetah X1 chip. Notably, the Pro+ variant boasts 100W Multi-Speed FastCharge capability, capable of charging up to 50% in just 8 minutes in hyper mode, while the Pro 5G variant offers 45W fast charging, achieving a 50% charge in 26 minutes.
All devices in the series support 20W Wireless MagCharge and are furnished with high-density batteries (4500mAh in Pro+, 5000mAh in others), capable of enduring 1,600 full cycles while maintaining 80% energy retention, as stated by the company. Furthermore, reverse charging permits power sharing with other devices, both wired and wirelessly, at speeds of up to 10W, with support for the PD3.0 protocol enabling laptop charging using the phone’s charger.
Additionally, the series boasts a 55° 3D curved 120Hz AMOLED display, fortified with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and showcases a unibody MDA (metal device antenna) design. Featuring a 108MP camera with OIS and a 3x Lossless Superzoom camera, Infinix has incorporated AI enhancements such as Active Halo AI lighting and partnered with Sound by JBL.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro 4G model boasts nearly identical specifications, albeit powered by the Helio G99 Ulimate SoC enhanced with AI features on XOS 14, including Folax, Ask AI, and an AI wallpaper generator, aimed at enhancing creativity and productivity.
Moreover, it features 70W All-Round FastCharge 2.0, enabling a 50% charge in just 20 minutes, alongside 20W Wireless MagCharge. Additionally, it boasts IP54 ratings, compared to the IP53 ratings of the 5G models.
All devices in the Infinix Note 40 Pro series run on Android 14-based XOS 14 and are slated to receive 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates.

Pricing and Availability -
The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G is available for USD 309 (approximately Rs. 25,620), while the Note 40 Pro 5G is priced at USD 289 (approximately Rs. 23,960). The Note 40 Pro 4G model comes for USD 259 (approximately Rs. 21,475), and the Note 40 4G phone is priced at USD 199 (approximately Rs. 16,500).
The global rollout of the phone is set to commence on Tuesday, March 19th, offering color options in Vintage Green, Obsidian Black, and Titan Gold. Additionally, the Note 40 series is being teased in India, hinting at an imminent launch in the country.
Infinix has collaborated with DesignWorks, a BMW group company, to create a special Racing Edition of the Infinix Note 40 series, expected to be released by midyear.
