iQOO has launched its latest smartphones the iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro in China, fulfilling its earlier promise. These devices boast a 6.78-inch 1.5K 1-144Hz LTPO AMOLED display featuring 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, SGS low blue light certification with a 16,000-level brightness adjustment, and a remarkable peak brightness of 1400 nits.
The Neo9 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while the Neo9 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, incorporating the Q1 self-developed chip. These smartphones offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options reaching up to 1TB UFS 4.0.
Both models incorporate a 6K Canopy VC liquid cooling system for effective heat dissipation, covering an extensive area of 6043mm², constituting 48.82% of the entire projection area. The heat dissipation system has undergone upgrades in material and structural design, featuring a 3D stainless steel stamped VC throughout the body.
The glass version of the iQOO Neo9 series boasts a sleek 7.99mm thickness, showcasing a new square design where the photography module accounts for just 7.62%. The flagship micro-curved glass back cover and a body width of 75.7mm enhance the device's aesthetics. The red and white version employs a two-color double-grain plain leather splicing technology, the nautical blue color scheme features enamel texture glass technology, and the fighting black color scheme incorporates fluorite AG glass technology.
The Neo9 and Neo9 Pro are equipped with a Sony IMX920 VCS sensor with OIS, the same sensor found in the vivo X100. The Neo9 boasts a 50MP ultra-wide camera, while the standard model has an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Both models feature a 16MP front camera. In terms of battery capacity, these smartphones are equipped with a 5160mAh dual-cell battery supporting 120W fast charging, allowing a rapid charge from 1% to 40% in just 9 minutes.
