iQOO has launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone the iQOO Z5 in China, which is the successor of the iQOO Z3. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, DC dimming, DCI-P3 color gamut, TUV Rheinland low blue light certification, HDR 10, and 91.36% screen-to-body ratio.
It runs on the Snapdragon 778G processor with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 4GB of virtual RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on Origin OS 1.0 based on Android 11. It has a triple rear camera setup where a 64-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and on the front side has a 16MP punch-hole front-facing camera.
The phone comes with a 28837mm² VC cooling area that can decrease the phone’s core temperature by up to 12°C. It features Z-axis linear vibration motor, 4D vibration, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-res audio certification, and has a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a 5000mAh that supports 44W fast charging as compared to 55W in the Z3.
