LG Nexus 5 Leak Back Camera

We recently spotted the Google Nexus 5 when Android 4.4 KitKat was unveiled with a rather large camera sensor and vertical Nexus logo at the back. The same LG device codenamed LG D820 passed through the FCC, and now we have the first leaked images of the Nexus 5. Although this device does not have the Nexus brading on the back wince its a prototype.

In terms of specs that were filed at FCC, the LG Nexus 5 features a 4.96-inches display, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, NFC connectivity and a 2300 mAh battery pack. The chipset on the new Nexus has been quoted as the quad-core MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 running Android 4.4 KitKat with probably 2GB RAM.

We expect Google to launch the new NExus 5 sometime late in october so that it can be ready for the holiday season. Android KitKat is supposed to bring a lot of new features to Android as well, which will certainly make this a very sweet proposition.
