Lenovo's answer to the Redmi 3s Prime is here. The Lenovo K6 Power was launched in India today running on the same Snapdragon 430 processor as Xiaomi's budget smartphone.
The metal-clad Lenovo K6 Power gets its name due to massive 4000 mAh battery which is non-removable. It also gets a 5-inch 1080p display, 3GB RAM option with 32GB of internal storage which is expandable. The K6 Power is about 9.3mm in thickness, but we can let that go given the battery capacity. Moreover, you also get a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone just below main camera sensor which does make the design look a bit derivative.
Rounding up the specs department are a 13MP rear camera with faster phase-detection autofocus and LED flash. Selfie lovers will be happy to know that there is an 8MP front camera here, which is still quite rare in this price segment, although how it actually performs is something we will leave to our review of the K6 Power.
Another thing to note about the K6 Power is that you get dual stereo speakers at the back of the phone, the placement is questionable, but given what we have seen previously from Lenovo, these should sound good especially with customizable sound profiles through Dolby Atmos. Lenovo has again gone with the tried and trusted microUSB port here but there is no mention of fast charging support.
