LG G4 Beat

LG today announced a mid-range smartphone in its ever expanding G4 line-up, the LG G4 Beat. It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS in-cell display, powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal expandable storage running Android 5.1 Lollipop.


LG G4 Beat comes with either a 13MP or 8MP rear camera depending on region of launch, LED flash, Laser AutoFocus, alongwith a 5MP front-camera. LG G4's color spectrum sensor has made it to the G4 Beat, as well as its manual mode where you can control ISO, focus, shutter speed and white balance.


Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS support and NFC. There's a 2300 mAh removable battery on theG4 Beat. The design of the G4 Beat is quite similar to the flagship G4 including the diamond textured back-cover.


LG G4 Beat will be available starting this month in Europe & Latin America including France, Germany and Brazil. India, Russia, Canada, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey will get the phone next. It will be called the G4s in some regions of Europe. There will be 3 colors at launch: Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold. At present there is no word on pricing.
