Update - LG will start pre-orders for TONE Free (HBS-TFN6) wireless earphones in South Korea between July 10 to July 16, priced at 199,000 won (US$ 166 / Rs. 12,435 approx.) and will be available from July 17. The Pre-order customers get concept accessory case one gift from 5 colors - mint, pistachio, lemon, strawberry, and raspberry and also get Starbucks key ring.
Earlier - LG has announced that to launch its two new canal-type earbuds as part of its TONE Free lineup with named HBS-FN6 and HBS-FN4. It comes with Headphone Spatial Processing (HSP) that was developed by Meridian, IPX4 certification, voice assistant support, fast charging, touch controls, 18 hours of continuous playback, and Voice Command support.
Both models have customized EQ sound settings developed by Meridian with 4 unique presets – Natural, Immersive, Bass Boost, and Treble Boost. They are noise isolated its snug-fitting ear tips and comes with Ambient Sound Mode that lets users listen to their music surroundings through the microphones.
The higher-end HBS-FN6 comes with LG’s UVnano charging case that cleans the earbuds of microbes when they are in the charging case. The case has a built-in ultraviolet light that can kill 99.9% of E. coli and S. aureus that can be present on the non-toxic, hypoallergenic silicone ear gel and the inner mesh.
According to the company, the battery backup of about 6 hours of continuous playback music on a single charge, while the total listening time is up to 18 hours with charging case. It has fast charging support where 5 minutes of charge will provide 1 hour of listening to music.
The LG TONE Free models come in Black and Modern White color and will begin rolling out on the next month in European and American markets, but the price is yet to be announced.
