Lumio has launched its latest smart TV, the Vision 9 (2026) in India, aimed at eliminating sluggish and lag-prone viewing experiences, backed by the tagline “Fast. Fluid. Flagship.”
The launch reflects a broader shift in the smart TV market toward improved performance, speed, and reliability. According to Lumio, the Vision 9 (2026) continues its performance-centric strategy with enhancements across display, audio, and content discovery.
Lumio Vision 9 (2026) -

The Vision 9 (2026) is built around four core pillars: Performance, Display, Sound, and Software. It runs on Lumio’s Boss Performance architecture, which integrates processing power, memory, storage, connectivity, and OS-level optimisations.
At its core, the TV is powered by MediaTek’s Pentonic 700 chipset, coupled with 3GB DDR4 RAM and faster internal storage. Lumio claims this configuration delivers up to twice the performance of competing models, along with support for Wi-Fi 5.
For gaming, the TV supports native 4K resolution at 144Hz and up to 240Hz at 1080p. It also features Variable Refresh Rate (48–240Hz) and Auto Low Latency Mode, offering an input lag of 9.7ms. HDMI 2.1 with FRL support up to 48Gbps is included to handle high-bandwidth gaming requirements.

On the display front, the 55-inch and 65-inch variants come equipped with a QD MiniLED panel featuring local dimming and peak brightness of up to 800 nits. The use of an EVA (Enhanced VA) panel improves contrast, black levels, and viewing angles while minimizing light bleed. The TV offers a native contrast ratio of up to 7000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio reaching 100,000:1.
Key features include:
- DOPE 2 picture engine with HDR tuning
- Delta E < 1.9 colour accuracy
- Over 100% NTSC and up to 82% Rec.2020 colour gamut
- TLDR 2.0 with 34 new AI-powered features
- Trending Top 10, curated collections, and unified ratings
- Smart search with filters for language, genre, and platform
The TV supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG formats, along with customizable picture modes and enhanced shadow detail for more balanced visuals.
For audio, the Vision 9 (2026) features a 50W DGS 2.2 sound system with a hexa-driver setup, including dual subwoofers, dual full-range drivers, and dual tweeters. It delivers bass down to 38Hz—up to twice that of the previous generation. Dolby Atmos support is also included, with tuning focused on maintaining clear dialogue even during scenes with heavy background sound.

Lumio has also refreshed its Vision 7 (2026) lineup, which will be offered in 43-inch and 55-inch screen sizes. Additionally, the TVs now include a satellite port, enabling access to up to 540 free-to-air channels via Free Dish.
Project Neo -
Under Lumio Labs, the company introduced Project Neo, a feature aimed at streamlining content discovery. It allows users to interact with the TV through messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram, removing the need for traditional on-screen input.
Users can simply send links or type queries from their smartphone—for instance, sharing a video or searching for “movies where the villain wins.” The system then processes the request, identifies availability across streaming platforms, and creates a watchlist directly on the TV.
