Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 8 6.8.4 to devices in India, the update weighs in at 1.3GB (Redmi Note 3) and should be downloaded over WiFi.
Apart from the usual performance improvements and bug fixes, the weekly MIUI 8 update brings Talkback support when you first turn on the device. Then you have new Mi Picks as well which lets you discover apps and games based on your usage.

Xiaomi has been rolling out optimizations and bug fixes to MIUI 8 global and China beta ROMs weekly now and we have seen improvements in camera, performance as well as responsiveness of the fingerprint sensor. Though there are a few bugs to be ironed out, the company has been working on a fast pace to fix issues with every new build.
The current update is being rolled out OTA, if you haven't received a notification yet then just check using the Updater app.
Although there have been regular updates to MIUI 8 beta, but the stable build has again been pushed to the end of the month. There were some features announced at launch like multi-window mode which are yet to make an appearance on the beta.
