Motorola moto buds 2 launch India.

Motorola has expanded its ecosystem portfolio in India with the launch of the Moto Buds 2 alongside the Moto G37 series, as previously announced. The earbuds were originally unveiled globally during MWC 2026 in March.

Audio Hardware and Features -

Developed in collaboration with Bose, the moto buds 2 are designed to deliver a premium audio experience. The earbuds feature a dual-driver setup that combines 11mm dynamic drivers for enhanced bass performance with 6mm Knowles balanced armature drivers for clearer mids and highs.

The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio, LHDC low-latency codec, and Spatial Audio technology for a more immersive and detailed sound output.

ANC and Call Performance -

The moto buds 2 offer up to 55dB Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which automatically adjusts based on the surrounding environment for more effective noise reduction. A Transparency Mode is also included, allowing users to hear ambient sounds without removing the earbuds.

For voice calls, the earbuds use a six-microphone system — three microphones on each earbud — combined with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and Motorola’s CrystalTalk AI technology to reduce background noise and improve voice clarity in crowded environments.

Design and Smart Features -

Continuing its partnership with Pantone, Motorola is offering the moto buds 2 in a range of specially curated PANTONE colors. The earbuds are designed with a compact and ergonomic form factor aimed at providing long-lasting comfort.

Additional smart features include:

  • Smart Wear Detection: Automatically pauses audio when an earbud is removed and resumes playback when reinserted.
  • Moto AI Integration: Enables intelligent voice controls and adaptive audio features on supported Motorola devices.
  • Moto Buds App: Allows users to customize EQ settings, manage ANC modes, and install firmware updates.

The earbuds also come with an IP54-rated water-repellent design for protection against sweat, splashes, and light rain.

Battery and Connectivity -

Motorola claims the moto buds 2 can deliver up to 53 hours of total playback time when used with the charging case.

On the connectivity front, the earbuds support Bluetooth 6.0 for improved stability, lower latency, and better power efficiency. They also support Dual Device Connection, allowing simultaneous pairing with two devices for seamless switching between devices such as smartphones and laptops.
