Motorola launched two new true wireless earbuds, the Moto Buds 2 plus and the Moto Buds 2 in the Global Market at MWC 2026. The Moto Buds 2 Plus come with Sound by Bose tuning and feature a hybrid dual-driver setup. They combine 11mm dynamic drivers with Knowles balanced armature drivers for a more refined audio experience. The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio with the Low-Latency High-Definition Audio Codec (LHDC) and also offer Spatial Audio support.
For noise management, the earbuds use Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to minimize background distractions. A total of six microphones, equipped with Environmental Noise Cancellation and a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), enhance voice clarity during calls. Through the Moto Buds app, CrystalTalk AI applies AI-powered noise reduction to maintain clear conversations even in noisy surroundings.
The earbuds also support Dual Connection, allowing simultaneous pairing with two devices. The Audio Share feature enables two pairs of moto buds 2 plus to connect to a single smartphone. Wear Detection automatically pauses playback when the earbuds are removed, while customizable touch controls allow users to manage music, calls, and voice assistants.
When paired with compatible Motorola smartphones, pressing and holding the earbuds activates Moto AI features such as Catch me up, Pay attention (which can record, transcribe, or summarize meetings), Remember this, and AI-powered live translation.

The moto buds 2 are equipped with an 11mm dynamic driver paired with a 6mm micro planar magnetic driver, delivering a balanced and detailed sound profile. They support Hi-Res Audio via LHDC and also feature Spatial Audio support for an immersive listening experience.
Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation offers up to 55dB of noise reduction, along with a Transparency Mode that lets in ambient sound when needed. For calls, six microphones combined with Environmental Noise Cancellation enhance voice clarity in different environments.
With Bluetooth 6.0, the earbuds provide more stable and efficient connectivity. Dual Connection allows seamless switching between two paired devices without the need to reconnect manually. The Moto Buds app also includes a Gaming Mode, designed to lower audio latency during gameplay.
In terms of battery performance, the earbuds deliver up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 48 hours in total with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 3 hours of listening time. When used with compatible Motorola smartphones, users can activate Moto AI features such as Catch me up, Pay attention, and Remember this.
