Nothing also highlighted updates to its signature Glyph interface. The Phone (4a) features six white LED lights positioned vertically on the right side of the camera module. Additionally, a red LED will function as a recording indicator.

The Glyph system will introduce new notification styles such as dolphin and wings effects, along with other customizable patterns. Despite using a single vertical LED strip, the device will retain the hourglass effect seen on the Nothing Phone (3). Additional Glyph features include progress indicators, a camera timer countdown, and a camera shutter light effect.

The company confirmed that the camera bump on the Phone (4a) has been reduced compared to the Phone (3a), thanks to the integration of a tetra prism telephoto lens.

To celebrate the launch of the pink variant, Nothing has rolled out several creative promotional activities in London, including disruptive graffiti across flyposters in central areas featuring cultural references tied to the colour pink, as well as a pink-themed graffiti takeover at the Nothing Store Bengaluru window.

The Nothing Phone (4a) launch event is scheduled for March 5 at 10:30 AM GMT / 4 PM IST, with a live stream from Central Saint Martins in London.
