OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone in the Nord CE series, the OnePlus Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite in India on May 7th, following the launch of the Nord 6 earlier this month.
OnePlus Nord CE6 -
The Nord CE6 will be available in three color options: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black. It features a minimal, clean rear design with a metal cube deco module, paired with large 15.5mm golden R corners and gently curved edges for a refined look. The device is built for durability, offering IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, along with a dedicated touch-reflex chip that enables a 3200Hz touch sampling rate. It also incorporates a large cooling system with a total heat dissipation area exceeding 33,000 mm².
The device packs a massive 8000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, claimed to deliver more than 2.5 days of usage on a single charge. It also supports 27W reverse wireless charging.
On the display front, the Nord CE6 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 1800 nits, and 3840Hz PWM dimming technology.
OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite -
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite is expected to sport a vertical camera module housing dual rear cameras, along with a punch-hole display design. It will be offered in two color options: Vivid Mint and Hyper Black.
The smartphone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset, marking an upgrade over the Snapdragon 695 used in its predecessor. It is also tipped to feature a 144Hz display and a large 7000mAh battery.
A device bearing the model number OnePlus CPH2943 has appeared on Geekbench, revealing 8GB RAM and Android 16.
Earlier reports suggest the phone could include a 6.7-inch LCD screen, a 50MP primary camera accompanied by a secondary sensor, and a 16MP front-facing camera. It is also expected to omit the 3.5mm headphone jack to accommodate the larger battery.
As with previous launches, both the Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite will be available via Amazon India, the OnePlus India online store, and offline retail outlets following their official debut.
