OPPO is preparing to launch its upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra with a telephoto extender in China soon. A few days ago, images of the alleged Oppo Find X9 Ultra have surfaced on Weibo, showing the device equipped with a teleconverter kit that includes a dedicated protective case, a camera grip, and an external telephoto extender.

The photos also reveal a large 300mm telephoto converter lens attachment. Additionally, several physical buttons can be seen on the right side of the device. The handset itself appears to feature a flat display design.
Now, a fresh leak claims to give us our first look at the back — and the design is quite striking, clearly aiming to evoke the look of a digital camera. It’s worth noting that these are not actual leaked photos but rather renders reportedly created from the device’s design, likely with the help of AI.
The rear is dominated by a massive circular camera module that stretches across almost the entire width of the phone. The back panel itself appears to use two different materials — possibly metal (which may be part of a unibody design with the frame) and a second finish that looks like faux leather, likely intended to improve grip while shooting photos.

According to the source, there will also be a more classic version with a glass back. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6.82-inch QHD+ flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and backed by a large 7,300mAh battery.
On the camera front, the main sensor is said to be Sony’s Lytia 901 (1/1.12-inch type), accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera using Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor. The phone is also expected to include two telephoto cameras: a 200MP 3x optical zoom unit with a 1/1.28-inch OmniVision sensor, and a 50MP 10x optical zoom camera using Sony’s Lytia 600 sensor. The telephoto extender reportedly enables up to 13.2x zoom from the 200MP sensor. For selfies, the device is said to feature a 50MP front camera.
