OPPO has confirmed that its next-generation flagship smartphone, the Find X9 Ultra, will debut globally later this year following its launch in China, similar to the other models in the Find X9 series. This move represents a significant change in OPPO’s release approach, marking the first time its premium “Ultra” lineup will be introduced beyond the Chinese market.
The company says this global rollout reflects its long-term commitment to serving international consumers. A key highlight of the upcoming Find X9 Ultra will be its advanced camera system.
According to OPPO, the device features the most sophisticated imaging technology the brand has developed so far for a smartphone. It incorporates next-generation optical engineering aimed at pushing the boundaries of mobile photography.
The camera system has also been co-engineered with Hasselblad, extending the ongoing collaboration between the two companies to bring professional-grade imaging expertise to smartphones. Based on earlier reports, the device is expected to include a 200MP 1/1.28-inch ultra-large sensor periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP 10x periscope telephoto lens, and a battery exceeding 7000mAh.
OPPO has not yet revealed complete specifications, pricing details, or regional availability. The company has stated that more information will be shared gradually as the global launch date draws closer.
Speaking at OPPO’s media event in Barcelona, Elvis Zhou, CEO of OPPO Europe, stated:
Positioned under the tagline “Built to Be Your Next Camera,” the Find X9 Ultra is engineered to offer professional-level imaging performance within a flagship smartphone design. As more devices adopt the “Ultra” branding in 2026, we believe the designation should represent genuine innovation and capability. With the Find X9 Ultra, we aim to establish a new standard for mobile photography.
