POCO has launched its latest 5G smartphone in the F series the POCO F5 in India, which is the successor of last year’s POCO F4, as they promised. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, support for Dolby Vision, a 2.2mm ultra-narrow bottom bezel, and a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It is the first phone in India to run on the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor with 3725mm² arear vapor chamber cooling compared to 3112 mm² in the POCO F4, which translates to about a 19.7% increase in size and also has 14 years of graphite sheet covering, 10000 mm² of total area. It has up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and is based on Android 13 with MIUI 14 with 2 OS updates and 3 years of security updates for the phone. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera with OIS, 2x in sensor lossless zoom along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP punch-hole front-facing camera. It also has different camera modes like - Film Camera KG200, Film Camera H-400, Film Camera C-50D, Film Camera KP160, Film Camera KC64, Film Camera FC400, and Film Camera V-250. The white variant of the phone has an Iceflake texture.
