POCO has officially confirmed the launch of its next-generation flagship performance smartphones in the POCO F9 series, the POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra in India. The lineup will succeed last year’s POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra and will debut globally under the tagline “UltraPower Unbound.” The official launch event is scheduled for September 1, 2026.
Key Highlights and Design Innovations
- POCO F9 Ultra: The Dark Cherry variant features a textured glass-fiber rear panel with a deep cherry finish. Its large rounded corners provide a premium matte appearance while improving grip and handling.
- POCO F9 Pro: The Aurora Green edition introduces a full-panel luminous rear design. The casing absorbs ambient light and sunlight and can produce a consistent glow in dark surroundings.
- Sound by Bose: Both smartphones feature a distinctive rear camera island that houses a dedicated Bose-tuned sound system, representing a notable audio upgrade for the POCO lineup.
