Realme has officially launched the realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition in India, following the company’s earlier announcement. The new special edition extends realme’s portfolio of franchise collaborations, succeeding the realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition.
Developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the co-branded smartphone combines Harry Potter-themed design elements and exclusive software customizations with the core hardware of the regular realme 16 Pro.
Themed Design & Collector’s Trunk
The realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition receives a range of design touches inspired by the Wizarding World:
- Light-Sensing Color-Changing Finish: The rear panel uses an enchanted brown textured leather finish with a Wizard’s Chess-inspired Argyle pattern, combined with realme’s “Quadra Light-Sensing Color-Changing Tech”.
- Hogwarts Crest & Camera Deco: An embossed Hogwarts crest is placed prominently on the rear, while the metallic “Metal Mirror Camera Deco” takes design inspiration from Hedwig the owl.
- Engraved Mid-Frame: The metallic frame carries laser-engraved “Welcome to Hogwarts” detailing.
- Software Experience: The device includes customized UI elements such as Harry Potter-themed lock screens, app icon packs, wallpapers, and dedicated camera filter presets.
The smartphone is packaged in a collector’s gifting box designed as a 1:1 replica of Harry Potter’s Hogwarts school trunk. The special packaging is limited to 5,000 units worldwide.
The box includes a replica Hogwarts acceptance letter, a Platform 9¾ train ticket, Hogwarts Four Houses crest bookmarks, collectible character postcards, a custom-embossed Hogwarts phone case, and a themed SIM ejector tool.
