Today, Realme has confirmed the launch of its latest mid-range 5G smartphone the Realme 8s 5G with Dimensity 810 the first phone with the chip, and the successor of the realme 8 5G, after the teaser. The realme 8i is an enhanced version of the realme 8 and the successor to the realme 7i will also be launched alongside is India’s first phone to come with Helio G96.
According to the earlier rumors, the realme 8s will be the first phone that will be run on the Dimensity 810 5G processor. It comes with a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 8GB RAM with support for 5GB virtual RAM, and up to 256GB storage.
According to the renders, the phone will come with a 64MP triple rear camera setup, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right side, and will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W Dart charging.
According to the rumors, the Realme 8i will come with a 6.59-inch FHD+ screen that could be a 120Hz refresh rate display with the latest Helio G96 SoC. It will feature a 50MP primary camera that could be the same Samsung ISOCELL JN1 along with a 2MP B&W portrait sensor and 2MP 4cm macro sensor. It is said to be powered by a 5000mAh (typical) battery.
Realme will sell the phones only on Flipkart as well as realme.com and offline stores. We should know more details about the phones and the exact price when these go officially launch next week.
