Realme has launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphones the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ in the new Pro+ series in India, as they promised. The realme 9 Pro+ has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. While the realme 9 Pro has a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that can switch between 30Hz/48Hz/50Hz/60Hz/90Hz/120Hz depending on the content and has a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The Realme 9 Pro+ is run on the latest Dimensity 920 processor with several 5G bands support, and the realme 9 Pro is run on the Snapdragon 695 5G SoC with several 5G bands support and also has liquid cooling. Both phones have up to 8GB of RAM with up to 5GB of dynamic RAM expansion. These phones are based on the latest Android 12 with realme UI 3.0 out of the box, and the company has will provide 2 years of Android OS updates for the phones.
The Realme 9 Pro+ has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor, OIS along with an 8MP 119° ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP 4cm macro camera. The company uses ProLight Imaging technology, Optical Image Stabilization to reduce blur, and advanced AI features, like AI Noise Reduction Engine 3.0 for better low-light imaging. Other camera features include long exposure mode (one-click photo), Peak & Zoom, and 90’s Pop Filter.
The Realme 9 Pro also has a triple rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera along with the same 8MP 119° ultra-wide camera and a 2MP 4cm macro camera. Both the phones have a 16MP front-facing camera with a Sony IMX471 sensor. The 9 Pro+ has an In-display fingerprint sensor with heart rate monitoring, while the 9 Pro has a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Realme 9 Pro+ is powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports 60W SuperDart Charge fast charging, which can charge up to 50% battery in 15 minutes. The Realme 9 Pro has a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W Dart Charge fast charging in the box.
The Sunrise Blue has a Light Shift Design, so under normal sunlight or ultraviolet light, the back cover turns from blue to red in about 3 seconds; under no sunlight, it will fade in 2-5 minutes. The company says that it uses a 3-layer process that creates a color-filled shine with a vibrant vertical beam that gleams from every angle.
