Update - Xiaomi has launched its budget range smartphone the Redmi 9 in the Chinese markets with the same specifications and also comes in new Lotus color.

Earlier - Xiaomi has officially launched its latest budget smartphone the Redmi 9 in Europe after revealed by online retailers. It has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD water-drop display with MediaTek Helio G80 (8nm) processor, up to 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage and works on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. It has a textured anti-fingerprint back and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Coming to the cameras, it had a quad rear camera setup where a 13 MP primary rear camera along with an 8 MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens, 5 MP 4cm macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front side has an 8 MP water-drop front-facing camera.
