Xiaomi just launched its latest flagship smartphones the Redmi K40, K40 Pro, and K40 Pro+ in China, as they announced. These phones come with a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with MEMC, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, 8,192 levels of dimming, and 2.76mm ultra-small punch-hole that houses a 20MP camera.
The Redmi K40 runs on the Snapdragon 870 processor, while the Pro models are based on Snapdragon 888 5nm processor, along with up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and works on the MIUI 12 based on Android 11, which will be upgradable to MIUI 12.5 soon.
These phones come with a triple rear camera setup where Redmi K40 has a 48MP primary camera with IMX582 sensor, while K40 Pro has a 64MP primary camera with IMX686 sensor, and the Pro+ version has a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor. In addition, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and 5MP 50mm telephoto macro lens same in all.
The Redmi K40 series feature X-axis linear motors, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos sound, and Audio Zoom for video. These are powered by a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging that can charge 100% in just 52 minutes, and these come in Glossy Black, Icy White, and Dreamland colors.

The K40 and K40 Pro will be available from March 4th in China and the Pre-order has started from today. While the Redmi K40 Pro+ will be available by the end of March.
