Update - Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of the Redmi Turbo 3 in China, set to debut on April 10th. Accompanying the announcement are images showcasing the phone in three distinct colors. According to the company, the new Snapdragon 8s Gen incorporates powerful performance and exceptional AI computing capabilities within an astonishingly slim and lightweight frame.
It boasts an ultra-thin four-edge screen, a deep four-curved design on the back, and a diamond skeleton structure, ensuring durability and providing an excellent grip. The device is stated to weigh merely 179g and have a thickness of 7.8mm.
Xiaomi asserts that the Redmi Turbo 3 has achieved a remarkable score of 1.75 million points on AnTuTu 10. Additionally, the company has confirmed configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and storage capacities reaching up to 1TB.
Earlier - Xiaomi has officially revealed the moniker of its upcoming smartphone, powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, set to debut in April as the Redmi Turbo 3. Serving as the follow-up to last year's Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which runs on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.
Wang Teng Thomas, the General Manager of the Redmi brand, previously shared an image showcasing the phone's display featuring sleek bezels. Today, he further announced that the Turbo 3 will mark the inaugural masterpiece of the new series in the new decade.
In accordance with the company's fresh ten-year strategy, a new product framework has been established:
- K series - positioned as a pinnacle of technological performance, transitioning into a flagship of high-end caliber.
- Turbo series - positioned as a cutting-edge performance flagship of the new generation, redefining the landscape of mid-range performance.
- Note series - positioned as a benchmark for mid-range experiences, facilitating the widespread adoption of flagship-grade features.
- Number Series - positioned as premium entry-level devices, elevating the standard experience within the industry.
Regarding the device, he expressed -

Following its launch in China in April, the phone is slated for a global release under the name POCO F6."
