At MWC, TECNO has unveiled the POVA 6 Pro 5G, the company's latest mid-range 5G smartphone and successor to last year's POVA 5 Pro. Featuring a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, it retains the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC while offering up to 12GB of RAM and 12GB of virtual RAM.
The phone introduces a Dynamic-Eye Design with a Dynamic Light Effect on the back cover. A total of 210 individually controlled MiniLEDs create ring-shaped and propeller-shaped light effects. In all, users can personalize up to 9 different scenarios such as calls, power status, and gaming with 101 different user-defined effects.
TECNO incorporates its first P-NCVM border to achieve a seamless middle frame, along with advanced Lithography Precision Technology Texture, providing a delicate yet sturdy feel that remains resistant to fingerprints, as stated by the company.
Running on Android 14 with HiOS 14 overlay, the phone boasts a 108MP primary rear camera, a secondary 2MP camera, and an AI lens, complemented by a 32MP front camera. Both front and rear cameras feature dual LED flash. The device includes a cooling area of 27342mm² and integrates TECNO's 4D Vibration Sense for enhanced tactile feedback during gameplay.
Featuring an in-display fingerprint scanner, the phone is powered by a 6000mAh battery with 70W Ultra Charge capability, capable of charging the device up to 50% in 20 minutes and reaching full charge in just 50 minutes. In times of low battery, the 1% Super-Endurance Power feature allows for up to 20 minutes of calling. Additionally, the phone supports 10W Reverse Charging.
Notably, the phone is designed to be charged even in temperatures as low as -20°C and can operate in temperatures of up to 60°C. Safety features include STS Secure Battery Technology to prevent internal shorts, Bypass Charge to mitigate overheating, and Charging Water Detection to alert users to moisture presence, according to TECNO.

The TECNO POVA 6 Pro 5G will be available in Comet Green and Meteorite Grey colors and is set to launch in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and India by the end of February.
After the initial launch, it will gradually become accessible across various key regions, including Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Pricing details will be provided upon its release in these countries.
