TECNO has launched its latest 4G smartphone in its SPARK 50 series, the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro for global markets. Designed with durability and long-term reliability in mind, the device combines high-capacity battery options, enhanced environmental protection, upgraded imaging hardware, and AI-powered features to deliver a well-rounded mid-range smartphone experience.
Battery Options and Fast Charging
A major highlight of the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro is its focus on long-lasting battery performance. Depending on the market, the smartphone will be available with one of the following battery configurations:
- 5,600mAh dual-cell battery
- 6,000mAh single-cell battery
TECNO claims that both battery variants are capable of sustaining more than 1,900 charging cycles while retaining over 80% of their original capacity. This is expected to provide up to six years of reliable battery life under normal usage conditions.
The device supports 60W Super Charge technology, enabling the battery to reach approximately 63% charge in just 30 minutes and achieve a full charge in about 55 minutes.
Users can choose between three intelligent charging modes:
- Hyper Mode – Prioritizes maximum charging speed.
- Smart Mode – Balances charging efficiency and temperature control.
- Low-Temperature Mode – Focuses on thermal protection and battery health.
The SPARK 50 Pro also incorporates bypass charging technology, which directs power straight to the motherboard during gaming or video streaming sessions. This helps reduce battery stress and heat buildup while improving overall efficiency.
Performance and Display
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, which delivers an estimated AnTuTu benchmark score of around 550,000. The device also supports Memory Fusion 4.0, allowing virtual RAM expansion for up to 24GB of dynamic memory.
For entertainment and everyday use, the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling, animations, and gameplay.
Audio performance is enhanced through dual stereo speakers with DTS Sound tuning for a more immersive listening experience.
50MP Sony Camera System
The rear camera setup is headlined by a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor, developed by Sony Semiconductor Solutions. Featuring a 1/1.953-inch sensor size, it is designed to capture more light than conventional sensors in this segment, improving image quality and low-light performance.
TECNO has also integrated its proprietary FlashSnap technology, capable of utilizing electronic shutter speeds of up to 1/10,000 second. This enables sharper shots of fast-moving subjects such as athletes, pets, and wildlife while reducing motion blur.
