Vivo has launched its latest flagship smartphones in the X300 series, the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro in China, as promised. The company has discontinued the Pro Mini model, with the new X300 now serving as its replacement, offering flagship-level specifications.
Display -
The vivo X300 features a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.05mm ultra-narrow bezels on all sides. The X300 Pro retains its 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED display, boasting 1.1mm bezels. Both use BOE’s Q10+ material, support full-brightness DC dimming, 2160Hz PWM dimming, local peak brightness of 4500 nits, and Zeiss Natural Color Management for true-to-life colors.
Performance -
Powering both devices is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, achieving over 4 million points on AnTuTu 11. They come with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 dual 4-lane storage. The phones run OriginOS 6.0, based on Android 16, and are rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance.
Cameras -
The vivo X300 features a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4″ Samsung HPB sensor, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP 1/1.95″ LYT602 periscope telephoto camera that also supports telemacro shots.
The vivo X300 Pro debuts as the first smartphone to feature a 50MP 1/1.28″ LYT828 main sensor, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 200MP 1/1.4″ Samsung HPB sensor for its 85mm periscope telephoto camera with telemacro capability.
Both feature a 50MP front camera, Zeiss T* coating, and APO certification for improved clarity and reduced color fringing.
Imaging and Optics -
The phones include the vivo V3+ imaging chip, while the Pro variant also adds a VS1 auxiliary chip for enhanced image processing. Both models now support a Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter, expanding their professional photography capabilities.
