Xiaomi has begun sending invites for the launch of the Redmi Note in India on November 24th. The company also ran a contest on Facebook where three users would be able to win the Note.

The Redmi Note is supposed to come with a price tag below Rs. 9999 powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor with 2 GB RAM, 5.5-inch 720p IPS HD display, 8 GB internal storage which is expandable. There's a 13 MP camera at the back and a 5 MP front-facing unit takes care of selfies. The Redmi Note also comes with a massive 3100 mAh battery.
Like the Redmi 1S and the Mi 3 before it, the Redmi Note will also be sold exclusively on Flipkart in flash sales.
