Google today announced the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 alongwith the much awaited update to the Android platform, Android 5.0 Lollipop. Motorola hot on the heels of its Nexus 6 release has gone official with the word that the both the generations of the Moto X, Moto G and the Moto G LTE, Moto E will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini will also get the Lollipop treatment. Android Lollipop will be bringing in the new Material Design philosophy into action with improved notifications, significantly more colors in the interface, better security, improved battery-life and a new battery saver option aongwith a complete UI overhaul.
