OnePlus One OxygenOS

OnePlus has finally launched its own ROM OxygenOS which is based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. OxygenOS is an almost stock build of Lollipop making it fluid and free of any bloatware.

OnePlus also uploaded a video showing off the features of OxygenOS, showing very minor changes to stock Android. Carl Pei, Director - OnePlus Global said the same in an official blogpost saying:

We want to be careful that we aren’t adding features simply for the sake of differentiation. We’ve implemented some important features thus far, but they are subtle and meaningful. That’s our philosophy behind OxygenOS: keep it light and essential.

You can have a look at the video below.

You can go ahead download OxygenOS ROM from OnePlus website and manually flash it to your OnePlus One. Instructions are available from the official OnePlus forum. There might be some kinks in the first release, but they will be ironed out with future updates.
