Samsung recently announced Galaxy J7+ with dual rear cameras and now the same phone has been launched in China as the Galaxy C8.

It sports a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. When we dig deep inside the hood, we can see the smartphone sports an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P20 SoC clocked at 2.39 GHz. Cameras are where things get interesting. Samsung Galaxy C8 features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture lens and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.9 aperture lens. The dual cameras are capable of adding artificial bokeh with portrait mode and you can change the amount of blur you want in the background even after the image is taken. In the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

The smartphone follows a unibody metal design, which adds a premium feel. The physical home button doubles as a fingerprint scanner as well. It comes in three colors; black, gold, and rose gold.

Moreover, chances are the company will release two variants of Galaxy C8; 3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256 GB using an external SD card on both the versions.

The dual SIM device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. You can expect the company to roll out Oreo update in the near future. A 3000 mAh battery powers the smartphone.

To recall, the Galaxy J7+ sports the same specifications. The pre-orders for the smartphone (J7+) have already been begun in Thailand. You will have to spend TBH 12900 (around 24800 INR) there to get your hands on it. The company didn’t reveal the release date and the price in China yet. Going by the rumors, the Galaxy C8 will hit the market pretty soon.
