Apple Iphone6 Plus

There has been quite a lot of speculation surrounding a larger display iPhone. According to various rumors, leaked images, cases seen there are two variants that seem to pop up everytime. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 (or iPhone Air) and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus as it is being called.

The new iPhone(s) will have a more curved design with metallic build getting rid of the glass back, quite like the iPad Air. The larger display size will allow for an additional row of tiles on the homescreen. It is also being predicted that the lager iPhone 6 plus will allow apps to run in landscape mode with iPad-like UI. Apple may also use sapphire glass for the front panel, which makes it almost scratch-proof and even shatter-proof.

And then there's the iWatch. Motorola launched its Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch among much fanfare, and the only other competitor everyone is looking at is Apple. Although we have been hearing that the iWatch will not be shipping till 2015, atleast we can hope for a glimpse tonight.

Apple will be live-streaming the event from Cupertino at 10 AM PDT and you can watch it here.
