Coolpad and LeEco have launched their new smartphone in China, the Cool 1 Dual which comes with 13 MP dual rear cameras and metal unibody construction.
LeEco had recently acquired controlling stake in Coolpad and since then there has been talk of the Cool 1 smartphone. The newly launched phone runs on LeEco's EUI based on Android Marshmallow and under the hood you have the Snapdragon 652 running the show with 3GB/4GB RAM coupled with 32GB/64GB of onboard storage.
You also get a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display up front which is similar to the Le 2 launched earlier. Coming to the most interesting part of the smartphone, you have two 13MP rear cameras here which capture monochrome and color images at the same time to calculate depth information similar to the Huawei P9 which is set to launch in India tomorrow.
Not to be left behind you also have an 8MP front-facing camera here. LeEco has also packed a 4060 mAh battery with USB Type-C fast charging. Coolpad and LeEco have undercut the Xiaomi Redmi Pro in terms of pricing and the Cool 1 starts at just 1099 Yuan ($166 or Rs. 11,000.)
