iQOO has finally confirmed the launch of its latest flagship smartphones in the iQOO 9 series in India on February 23rd, after the teaser. The company also said that the iQOO 9 series will be the first samrtphone in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor in terms of availability since Samsung has recently confirmed that the Galaxy S22 series will be announced with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC in India.
The iQOO 9 series will include the iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, and an iQOO 9 SE, a cheaper version. The iQOO 9 and 9 Pro was already launched last month in China. The iQOO 9 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED LTPO 2.0 curved screen with 10bit color support and has a variable refresh rate of 120Hz. It runs on the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with enhanced LPDDR5 RAM, Enhanced UFS 3.1 storage + 4GB of extended RAM, an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor, 50MP camera with Samsung GN5 sensor, gimbal stabilization, liquid cooling, and more.

iQOO 9 -
The Indian variant of iQOO 9 will be the rebranded version of iQOO 8 that was launched last year in China, but it will run on a Snapdragon 888+ processor instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, and the rest of the specifications are similar to the iQOO 8, as per the rumors and official teaser poster.
