Update - iQOO has confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone the iQOO Neo7 Pro in India on July 4th by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya posted on Twitter.
Earlier - iQOO started teasing the launch of its next Neo series smartphone in India. The company’s India head Nipun Marya posted an image with hinted Neo, 7, and Pro texts for the Neo 7 Pro smartphone. The Neo 7 Pro in India is said to be the rebranded version of Neo 7 Racing Edition, which was launched in China last year.
The company launched the Neo 7 back in February, which is the rebranded version of the Neo 7 SE that was introduced in China last year. The original Neo 7 powered by Dimensity 9000+ is not expected to launch in India.
The phone will feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and is said to be run on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead of MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC in the Neo7. The Neo7 Pro version is said to get a 50MP primary rear camera with Samsung GN5 sensor, OIS while retaining the 5000mAh battery that will support 120W fast charging.
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro is expected to come in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB versions. We should know more details and the exact launch date of the phone in the coming days.
